Wet flies are seductive, working varying depths of the water column, sometimes aggressively and sometimes as gentle as a damsel fly caught in the surface of the river. Wet flies coax fish into light-as-a-feather nibbles or screaming devil-inspired grabs of fury that peel the line from your reel with such ferocity that smoke lifts from the burning skin of your palm as you try to stop the train from running away with everything, including your spirit.
